For 2008 Cycle Club Sudbury are organising two dates in the Audax calendar.
Tour de Stour

Taking place on Saturday 24th May 2008 the Cycle Club Sudbury are holding the popular ‘Tour de Stour’
There is a choice of two distances, 100 or 200 km. These two routes take follow the River Stour and some of its tributaries being along mostly quite lanes in South Suffolk and North Essex. Both routes are figure of eight’s with refreshments being at the scout hut.

Castles, Coast and Cornfields
SATURDAY 5th JULY ‘CASTLES, COAST AND CORNFIELDS’ ~BILDESTON
160km 8.30AM START
This route heads north-east from Bildeston, to Stonham Barns (cafe), then further north into mid-Suffolk, before turning south-east past Saxstead Mill and Framlingham (castle) to Snape (cafe) and on to the coast at Orford (cafe, control and castle). The return route is more southerly, via Wickham Market (cafe) and passing through villages north of Ipswich. There are few hills on the route, which mainly uses country lanes with short stretches of minor A and B-road.
Bildeston Circular
SATURDAY 5th JULY ‘BILDESTON CIRCULAR’ ~BILDESTON 104K 9.30AM START
The route is broadly circular, starting south-east from Bildeston to Flowton, then north to a cafe control at Needham Market, continuing north to Cotton. The route then returns south to another cafe control at Buxhall, before zig-zagging back to Bildeston. The route mainly uses country lanes with very short stretches of minor A and B-road; there are few hills.
