Lavenham 10 and Lavenham Open 10 Courses

We use the Lavenham Open 10 (B10/39R) course on Thursday evenings.

Lavenham Open 10 (B10/39R) Course Details

The course is 10 miles, and is a simple out and back course from Lavenham to Sudbury.

Course Directions

All distances given (approx) are from the start.
Start on Sudbury Road, B1071, in Lavenham by telegraph pole opposite Potland lane near church.

Proceed south on B1071 towards Sudbury. After 2.7 miles, bear right where B1115 joinsfrom left, continue through Gt Waldingfield to mini roundabout (marshal) at 4 miles, take 2nd exit right to Sudbury. At 5.3 miles, at Chilton roundabout (2 marshals) (junction with Churchfield Road), encircle roundabout and retrace on B1115, 1st exit at mini roundabout (marshal) at 6.7 miles, retrace through Gt Waldingfield, at 8 miles continue on B1071 to Lavenham, to finish at access to storage units approx 100m before 30mph Lavenham sign, after 10 miles. DO NOT STOP AT FINISH.

The Lavenham 10 course measures around 10miles and is a simple out and back course from Lavenham to Sudbury.

Course Directions

All distances given (approx) are from start.

Start in Lavenham by track to field on east side of the B1071 approx 180m north of Howletts garage.
Proceed south on B1071 towards Sudbury.
After 2.5 miles bear right where B1115 joins from left, continue through Gt Waldingfield to mini roundabout (marshal) at 3.8  miles, take 2nd exit right to Sudbury.
At 5.1 miles, at Chilton roundabout (marshal) (junction with Churchfield Road), encircle roundabout and retrace on B1115.
1st exit left at mini roundabout(marshal) at 6.5 miles, retrace thro’ Gt Waldingfield.
After 7.8 miles continue on B1071 to Lavenham, to finish at entrance to Howletts garage opposite telegraph pole 88 after 10 miles.
